CIMA+ in Canada is seeking a Lead Manager, Business Practices and HSE Management Systems to govern, integrate, and continuously improve HSE practices across the organization. Reporting to the HSE Director, you will partner with operations and support functions to ensure compliance and performance.

This role offers a hybrid work model (2 days in office) across multiple offices, a strong focus on ISO 45001, and a path to share ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Business Administration, or another related discipline). An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of provincial, territorial, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex HSE management systems and obtaining ISO 45001 certification.
• Experience in process governance, continuous improvement, auditing, and compliance management.
• Ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. French is required due to the need to interact regularly with CIMA+ stakeholders across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ensure governance and continuous improvement of the HSE management system in compliance with ISO 45001 requirements.
• Develop, harmonize, and integrate HSE processes into CIMA+ business practices.
• Oversee HSE document management and document control.
• Lead regulatory monitoring and compliance activities in preparation for internal and external audits.
• Develop and monitor HSE performance indicators and management reporting.
• Support the evolution and integration of HSE technology solutions in collaboration with other corporate departments.
• Lead, engage, and develop the Business Practices and HSE Management Systems team.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on HSE risk management, compliance, and performance.
