Job summary

University of Calgary is seeking a Full-time Temporary Relief Advisor, Processes and Solutions to support the employee lifecycle. This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and cross-functional collaboration within People and Culture.

You will advise on recruitment practices and assist with onboarding, offers, and data integrity. Reporting to the Team Lead, this position requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork to manage deadlines and competing priorities across campus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field (HR, business).
• 2–3 years of recent, relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and finalize HR tasks for employee lifecycle with accuracy.
• Maintain data integrity for personnel and hire information.
• Review international worker documentation and postings.
• Advise on recruitment practices including collective agreements.
• Prepare offer letters in consultation with the hiring manager.
• Provide guidance on recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes.
