CHFBC is seeking a temporary HR Coordinator in Vancouver to support HR operations across CHF BC, COHO Management Services and Community Land Trust. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support and confidential employee recordkeeping.
You’ll report to the Director of Human Resources and help maintain compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies during an 18–20 month maternity leave coverage period.

We are currently seeking a temporary HR Coordinator who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experience and supporting a collaborative workplace culture.
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the incumbent will play an integral role in supporting human resources operations across CHF BC, COHO Management Services Society and Community Land Trust. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day HR Coordination, support recruitment and onboarding initiatives, administer benefits and HR systems, maintain employee records, and assist with payroll-related processes.
This role is ideal for an organized and detailed oriented HR professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities and contributing to a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, collective agreements and organizational policies.
Please note that this is a temporary maternity leave coverage position. The anticipated term is approximately 18 to 20 months. The duration may vary depending on operational requirements.

This position is based at the Housing Central office in Vancouver, with an option to work remotely in accordance with organizational policies. The incumbent will regularly be exposed to confidential employee and organizational information and must maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times.
