The HR Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support across HR functions, including workforce scheduling, vacation management, onboarding, and payroll-related tasks within a unionized manufacturing setting. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role supports postings, training records, HR reporting, and employee programs while

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• CHRP designation or active pursuit considered assets.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Experience in Manufacturing, scheduling, vacation management, and records maintenance is an asset.
• Experience in a unionized context and applying collective agreement provisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly workforce scheduling and vacation administration.
• Administer job postings and awards per collective agreement; track qualifications.
• Maintain employee files and HR records; support payroll and HRIS transactions.
• Prepare routine HR reports and metrics; assist onboarding and benefits documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding campaigns, and candidate communications.
• Plan employee events, communications, and engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate office administration tasks and vendor services.
