Hartmann Canada Inc, in Brantford, Ontario is a division of Hartmann North America. We are the world leader of moulded fibre egg cartons. The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing. Hartmann has committed and invested in this area to meet the growing demand of our products.

Join Our Global Process Excellence Team as a Continuous Improvement Lead for Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service.

We’re building a brand-new Global Process Excellence (PEX) team—and we’re looking for a driven, hands‑on leader with a strong Lean foundation. This is a unique opportunity to take on a high‑impact, global role, driving continuous improvement initiatives across Europe and North America.

In this role, you’ll be at the center of transforming how we operate—streamlining administrative processes across planning, customer service, logistics, and inventory management. Leveraging Lean principles and methodologies, you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, relevant stakeholders, and IT partners to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Apply Lean methodologies to map current‑state processes, identify administrative waste, and drive sustainable improvements within Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service
  • Partner with Process Owners and key stakeholders to uncover optimization opportunities and implement best practices
  • Facilitate structured Lean workshops (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen events) and lead process redesign initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global business strategy in collaboration with the PEX Steering Committee
  • Monitor and report on KPIs tied to process efficiency and Lean performance, translating insights into actionable improvements
  • Lead change management efforts to adopt and sustain a Lean mindset
  • Collaborate with IT to enable digital solutions that support Lean and efficient workflows
  • Develop and uphold global CI standards, governance frameworks, and Lean best practices
  • Stay current on Lean advancements, digitalization trends, and process excellence methodologies
Your Impact

Your work will directly shape the future of our global operations. By embedding Lean thinking into everyday administrative practices, you’ll help build smarter, more efficient administrative processes and a culture focused on continuous improvement across regions.

You’ll join a collaborative, international team spanning Europe and North America, reporting to the Head of Global Process Excellence at our Danish headquarters.

What You Bring
  • Strong, hands‑on Lean expertise is essential—with a track record of applying Lean principles to deliver measurable results within administrative processes
  • 8+ years of experience in continuous improvement or process optimization within a manufacturing environment
  • Deep knowledge of Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics/Inventory administrative processes is a must
  • Proven experience leading Lean workshops (e.g., Kaizen, value stream mapping) and implementing structured CI frameworks in global settings
  • Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) required
  • Project management experience is a strong advantage
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Experience working in cross‑cultural, international teams
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems; exposure to AI, automation, or digital tools is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Additional Information
  • International travel: approximately 30–45 days per year (primarily within Europe and North America)
  • This is an on‑site role based in Brantford, Ontario. Candidates must be located in Canada and within commuting distance to the Brantford office.
