Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an HR Coordinator to help keep HR processes organized and moving forward in a hybrid Winnipeg setting. You will manage documentation, onboarding, reporting, Health & Safety, disability management, and other HR programs while supporting leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of HR coordination, administration, or related experience.
  • Experience preparing employment documentation and maintaining confidential records.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment handling sensitive information in employment, medical, safety, and labour relations.
  • Professional written and verbal communication; service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Health & Safety, disability management, accommodations, leaves, UKG, Power BI, SharePoint, or multi-site operations is an asset.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor HR Services inbox, respond to routine inquiries, route advisory matters, and track follow-ups.
  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation for offers, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, work permits, leaves, and confirmations.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, audits, investigations, grievances, training, and HR projects.
  • Coordinate retail sales performance coaching administration including scheduling, materials, tracking, reporting, and leader follow-up.
  • Maintain Health & Safety records, committee docs, inspections, training, incident records, corrective actions, and audit materials.
  • Support disability management and accommodations with confidential records.
  • Compile and validate HR reporting, monitor action items, and improve templates and trackers.

Job description

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping detailed Human Resources processes organized, accurate, and moving forward.Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will coordinate documentation, onboarding, reporting, Health & Safety, disability management, and other HR programs while supporting leaders across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor the HR Services inbox, respond to routine inquiries, route advisory matters, and track required follow-up
  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation related to offers, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, work permits, leaves, return-to-work plans, and employment confirmations
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, audits, investigations, grievances, training activities, and HR projects
  • Coordinate retail sales performance coaching administration, including scheduling, materials, completion tracking, reporting, and leader follow-up
  • Maintain Health & Safety records, committee documentation, inspections, training, incident records, corrective actions, and audit materials
  • Support disability management and workplace accommodation administration while maintaining accurate and confidential records
  • Compile and validate HR reporting, monitor action items, and identify opportunities to improve templates, trackers, and administrative processes
What You Bring
  • Two or more years of Human Resources coordination, administration, or related business administration experience
  • Experience preparing employment documentation and maintaining confidential records
  • Strong organization, accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employment, medical, safety, and labour-relations information
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, service-focused approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HR systems and reporting tools
  • Experience with Health & Safety, disability management, accommodations, leaves, UKG, Power BI, SharePoint, or multi-site operations is an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience

*Occasional evening or weekend work and travel to TDG locations may be required. A valid driver's license may also be required.
