We are hiring a HR Coordinator for our office in Toronto. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing human resources support in all functions of HR including recruitment and selection, new employee orientation, health and safety, employee relations, and HR administration. You will support the daily operations of the HR department in our growing team of professionals.

Job Description

  1. Coordinate recruitment efforts for the Talent Acquisition team.
  2. Coordinate all new hire paperwork (e.g., monitor status of outstanding documents, confirm collection and processing for onboarding).
  3. Support day-to-day HR operations including leave of absence administration, employment letter preparation, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  4. Input and maintain accurate employee data.
  5. Organize and maintain filing, online HR folders, and information.
  6. Liaise with Payroll and IT on employee changes, new hires, and terminations.
  7. Schedule and coordinate orientation for new employees.
  8. Organize all administration related to training, including enrollment, materials, attendance, and evaluation tracking.
  9. Support in implementing HR programs and processes to enhance employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources Management.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  3. CHRP in progress or completed is considered an asset.
  4. Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
