We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with various engagement opportunities and providing support to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of all employees.
  • Facilitate full cycle recruiting, including candidate screening, interviewing, and job offering.
  • Facilitate benefits coordination, including liaising with benefits carriers and employees.
  • Work closely with payroll administrator regarding changes to employee information including, salary, benefits, arrivals, and departures.
  • Advise employees on the interpretation and administration of human resources policies, regulations, and procedures to promote a better understanding of human resources practices and ensure adherence to accepted policies and principles.
  • Support with policy review & development.
  • Support the management of the training budget, including connecting employees to training and development opportunities and funding opportunities.
  • Organize internal training events and coaching opportunities.
  • Support with strategic planning initiatives and special projects.
  • Participate in relevant workplace committees and support employee wellness programs.
  • Develop and manage job descriptions and performance evaluations for all employees.
  • General administration functions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the application of the Canada Labour Code.
