Job summary

BrokerLink, a Canadian HR services firm, is seeking an HR Consultant to partner with managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation. The role involves guiding change initiatives, compensation and benefits support, and delivering training in a dynamic client environment.

This 19-month contract requires a university degree in HR or related field, at least 3 years of HR experience, and CPHR certification or in progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience.
• CPHR is required (or in progress).
• Experience delivering HR training programs to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Employment Legislation in NS, NB, NL, and ON.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, disability management, policy interpretation and change management.
• Actively participate in resolution of conflicts, complaints or problems.
• Ensure consistent understanding and delivery of HR policies and programs within the client group.
• Support acquisition and integration processes within the client group.
• Lead or participate in review of HR programs and practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees.
• Facilitate HR programs or cyclical initiatives as required.
