Description
The HR Advisor will help design and lead the Company’s implementation of a new employee engagement and dispute resolution program and processes. This includes benchmarking, program design, process and policy improvement, investigation, and utilization of best practices. The role also provides oversight for local site/business unit needs in employee engagement, employee relations, change management, and HR core process execution.
Responsibilities
- Support local site/business unit needs in employee engagement, relations, change management, training, data gathering, documentation, and community relations.
- Provide consultation or support in complex work environments or multiple geographies/business units.
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, escalations, remediation, and process management.
- Partner with CoE leaders to develop or update company policies for compliance.
- Analyze and harmonize company practices to align with policies, ensuring consistent treatment.
- Develop a roadmap to transform employee relations communication, reporting, and compliance vehicles.
- Support leadership in internal presentations or stakeholder interviews for employee relations transformation.
- Assist in planning and executing local change initiatives.
- Maintain the HR Service Delivery model.
- Coach and support managers to improve organizational health.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor of Arts Degree or equivalent.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience, with expertise in managing complex labor or employee relations and leading teams or change initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of employee advocacy programs and tools ensuring compliance.
- Experience in employee investigations and supporting arbitration hearings.
- Proficiency in change management methodologies.
- Data analysis and process management skills.
- Experience in employee relations training and policy awareness.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and presentation software.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to facilitate meetings with high emotions.
- Sound judgment, listening skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional credibility and maturity.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
