Starling Community Services seeks a Housing Stability Coach to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness within Waterloo Region. The role emphasizes lived experience and formal social services education to guide daily routines, life skills, and community reintegration.
You will work in the community and client homes, applying Housing First principles in a supportive, equity-focused environment with flexible benefits and pension options.
Competenze
- Knowledge of homelessness gained through life experience or related education.
- Experience working with participants with complex needs and housing support.
- Familiar with Housing First philosophy and related practices.
Mansioni
- Assist design and implement daily routines for individuals and families.
- Organize recreation, life skills training, and household activities.
- Support safety through risk assessment plans in homes and communities.
- Provide hands-on help based on individualized support plans.
- Work within Housing First model and collaborate with service providers.
