Job summary

The Housing First Case Management Worker role supports individuals and families facing housing barriers to secure and maintain safe housing in the community. It uses a case management approach to identify needs and connect clients with services, housing opportunities, government and local resources.

Responsibilities include developing case plans to address housing barriers, assisting with access to resources and supports, and building capacity for independent, stable living in the community.

Qualifications

• Diploma in human services, social work or a related field.
• One year recent related experience working in a community setting with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or addictions issues.
• A valid class 5 BC driver's license at hire.
• Criminal record check application at hire.
