Job summary

A non-profit housing co-operative in Scarborough is seeking an experienced, community-minded Executive Director / Property Manager to provide strong operational leadership, support our staff team and help strengthen our systems and day-to-day housing operations.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director / Property Manager provides overall operational leadership, including staff management, financial and administrative oversight, property and maintenance management,

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in non-profit housing, property management, or related environment.
• Experience supervising staff and providing performance feedback.
• Ability to deliver excellent service to diverse communities.
• Strong relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, financial-management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise administrative, maintenance and cleaning staff with clear direction.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, priorities, deadlines and Board directives.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, emergencies and property standards.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and housing charges with stakeholders.
• Support member services, occupancy matters and community-building initiatives.
• Implement Board decisions and provide timely reports and recommendations.
• Ensure confidential, well-documented operations and risk management.
