Beaver Hall Artists’ Co-operative in Downtown Toronto is seeking a permanent, part-time co-op housing administrator. The role is onsite (21 hours/week) with three work days, starting mid-December.
You’ll report to the board, manage finances and regulatory obligations, and support members and the broader governance process. Ideal candidates have at least five years in co-op housing or non-profit property administration, strong budgeting, and superb communication skills.
Beaver Hall Artists’ Co-operative is a 24-unit, live-work building designed to meet the needs of working visual artists. We currently have an opening for a permanent, part-time co-op housing administrator.

Compensation: $40/hour

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the board of directors, the co-op housing administrator is responsible for the management of the building, liaising with our commercial tenant, and providing support to the board and co-op members.
This position is for an independent contractor who understands that affordable and secure housing is often a significant barrier for most artists. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
