Job summary

CRMR in the Canadian Rockies is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain the highest cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas. You will act as a liaison between housekeeping staff, management, and guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

This full-time on-site role requires a minimum of two years in hotel housekeeping, strong English communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to work AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily room checklists and inspect rooms to uphold quality standards.
• Provide daily direction and motivation to housekeeping team; train staff on cleaning procedures and safety.
• Coordinate with housekeeping manager and front desk during peak periods and emergencies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure VIP rooms meet requirements.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation procedures and proper chemical handling.
• Cross-train across housekeeping departments and assist during peak times.
