Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will help prepare guest rooms, handle linen distribution, and maintain storage areas while upholding service standards.

The role offers a permanent position with a pay rate of $20.17/hour and may require working on holidays, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed. Start date is November 2026 and opportunities exist within the Accor portfolio.

Job description

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, an exceptional guest experience begins even before check-in and extends throughout every stay. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and welcoming - and our guests feel valued.

Pay Rate: $20.17/hour

Job Duties Include:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Housekeeping storage areas
• Responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing all Housekeeping linen going to and from Fairmont Regional Laundry
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
• Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
