Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a courteous Bellperson to warmly greet guests on arrival and assist with luggage and room orientation. You will act as a lobby ambassador, delivering exceptional service and helping guests throughout their stay.

The role is permanent, with a competitive hourly rate of $24.88 and the chance to work in a stunning Banff National Park location. Holidays, weekends, and overnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage delivery.
• Maintain lobby presence as brand ambassador and provide exceptional service.
• Manage guest requests and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests
• Act as a valet parking attendant and park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Receive and deliver items for guests
• Addresses guest concerns and brings them to the attention of the Manager on Duty
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures

Job Description

A smile and a helping hand are what our Guests will experience as you personally greet them upon arrival. As a Bellperson with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, your knowledge of the hotel and the professionalism you display will create a sense of “welcome” like no other.

Job Duties Include

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Class 4 driver's license (or equivalent) required and current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
• Certification in CPR and First Aid would be an asset
• Must be physically capable of meeting the very physical demands of the position
