Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team and keep guest rooms inviting and well-equipped. This permanent role starts in November 2026 and offers opportunities to grow within a premier resort.

You will assist Room Attendants, perform daily cleaning and storage maintenance, and help manage linen flows to and from the Fairmont Regional Laundry. The position requires flexibility for shifts, holidays, weekends, and overnight coverage in a dynamic mountain

Formación

• Previous experience in a similar hotel environment is preferred.
• Outstanding guest service skills and professional verbal communication.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Housekeeping storage areas.
• Sort and distribute all Housekeeping linen to/from the Fairmont Regional Laundry.

Job Description

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, an exceptional guest experience begins even before check-in and extends throughout every stay. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and welcoming - and our guests feel valued.

Pay Rate: $20.17/hour

Position Type: Permanent

Start Date: November 2026

Job Duties Include:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Housekeeping storage areas
• Responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing all Housekeeping linen going to and from Fairmont Regional Laundry
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
