Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant at St. Boniface Hospital to perform cleaning tasks across the campus. The role requires WHMIS knowledge, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The position is in-person with evening shifts, 7.75 hours daily, and an indefinite term. Applicants should be comfortable in a hospital environment and able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital campus; understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines; and performing other related duties as assigned.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
