Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper for Aspira Credit River Retirement Residence in Mississauga. You will perform cleaning tasks to keep residents' rooms and communal areas safe, clean, and welcoming, contributing to a caring home environment.

The role requires previous housekeeping experience and legal eligibility to work in Canada, plus successful checks. The posted rate of pay is $18.08 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for ongoing learning and growth within the organization.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

What makes you a great fit?

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What You Need To Know

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
