Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to contribute to a warm and safe home for residents. You will perform cleaning tasks to ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment and uphold the dignity and respect residents deserve.

This full-time role offers Monday to Friday responsibilities with hourly pay between 17.95 and 18.19 CAD, and opportunities to grow within a compassionate team that values accuracy, privacy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Perform housekeeping tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, spot cleaning walls/windows/doors.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants and keep spaces tour-ready.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents' quality of life.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces

• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
