Job summary

Aspira Valleylands Oshawa is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and to support daily living with attention to detail and compassion. You will help residents feel at home in a respectful, comfortable setting.

You will perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and disinfecting, while respecting resident privacy and collaborating with the team to uphold a caring home culture.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• You must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen applicants for this position.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. • Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned
