Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Barrie is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents at Woods Park community. This role emphasizes dignity, comfort and daily happiness in a supportive, resident-centered setting.

You will join a compassionate team, delivering consistent cleaning, attention to detail and respectful interaction with residents and families, while upholding privacy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents'. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

What makes you a great fit?

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors' quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
