Aspira Credit River Retirement Residence is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents. You will contribute to daily life with care and professionalism, ensuring spaces are comfortable and tour-ready for new occupants.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.

Responsabilités

• Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows and doors.
• Disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming and tour-ready.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

• Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What you need to know:
