Heatherwood Retirement Residence in Niagara Region is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join a caring team. The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with 4 shifts bi-weekly, offering a rate of $19.76 per hour. You will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming home for our residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Legal to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture and common areas according to schedules.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, carpet shampooing, and spot-clean walls, windows and doors.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants and maintain a welcoming, tour-ready environment.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. • Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
