Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the Summerwood Retirement Resort on-site role. You will maintain cleanliness and order across facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Training is provided if you lack prior custodial experience.

The position requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Wage is $19.69 per hour, 30–37.5 hours per week, with benefits and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism during all cleaning tasks.
