The C Hotel by Carmens, Hamilton, Ontario, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and banquet areas with a focus on cleanliness and guest comfort.

This permanent, part‑time role offers daytime shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and opportunities to contribute to exceptional guest experiences across Carmens Group properties. Flexible scheduling and staff perks accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping experience preferred in hotel/hospitality settings.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to work daytime shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Clean criminal background check and confidentiality basics.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, washrooms, public areas, and banquet spaces.
• Complete room setup tasks: change linens, make beds, dust, vacuum, restock amenities.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle cleaning supplies safely per procedures.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and teams to meet guest needs.
• Maintain spaces in line with hotel policies.
• Represent the hotel professionally in interactions.
• Provide additional housekeeping support as needed.

Position Details:

Job Type: permanent, part-time

Compensation: $17.90–$19.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Housekeeper, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for hotel guests and event visitors. Your work will ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and banquet areas are consistently maintained to a high standard.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Clean and service guest rooms, washrooms, public areas, and banquet spaces to maintain a welcoming environment
• Complete room setup tasks, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking guest amenities
• Report any maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns in a timely manner
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Coordinate with the Front Desk and other teams to help meet guest needs throughout their stay
• Maintain clean and safe spaces while following all hotel policies and procedures
• Represent the hotel professionally through positive, courteous interactions with guests and colleagues
• Provide additional support across housekeeping and hotel operations as required

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 1-2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness and presentation

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable safely handling cleaning products and following health and safety procedures
• Available for daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays
• A clean criminal background check and a commitment to maintaining guest confidentiality and hotel security standards.
