Job summary

LutherCare Communities is seeking a part-time, temporary Housekeeper at Luther Riverside Terrace in Saskatoon. The role involves cleaning residents' suites and building common areas, making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, floor cleaning, bathrooms, and light dusting.

32 hours per week with term ending February 25, 2027. Applicants should have a minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 preferred), be fluent in English, and able to operate housekeeping equipment.

Qualifications

• WHMIS training required within three months of employment.
• Ability to operate all housekeeping equipment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Minimum Grade 10 education; Grade 12 preferred.

Responsibilities

The Position:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning of resident's suites and the building, common areas which includes: making beds, changing linens, vacuuming of carpets, cleaning linoleum floors, cleaning the bathroom and light dusting.

Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time (Term ends on February 25, 2027)

Hours of Work:32 hours per week

The Applicants:

Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 10 education (preferably Grade 12), and previous housekeeping experience is preferred. WHMIS training is required within three months of employment. Applicants must have the ability to operate all housekeeping equipment and be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work unsupervised and be physically able to handle all required position duties
