Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a casual, on-call Housekeeper for Aspira Island View Retirement Living in Arnprior, ON. Shifts include 8:00am–4:00pm and 3:00pm–11:00pm, with weekend availability. This vacancy covers vacations and open shifts, supporting residents in a warm, respectful environment.

You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring spaces are tour-ready and comfortable. A privacy-minded, compassionate approach helps residents live with dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Sienna may utilize AI to screen applicants for this position.

As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. • Ability to complete a wide range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors
• Skilled in cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and common areas according to assigned schedules and procedures
• Attention to detail when preparing rooms for new occupants, ensuring spaces are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready at all times
• Strong understanding of resident privacy and professionalism while working in occupied living spaces
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated by meaningful work that supports seniors’ quality of life
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as assigned

What you need to know:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
