Job summary

The C Hotel by Carmens, Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team on a permanent part-time basis. You will maintain clean guest rooms, public areas, and banquet spaces, ensuring a polished and welcoming experience for guests during their stay.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high standard for cleanliness.
• Able to work independently while also contributing to a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable handling cleaning products and following health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, washrooms, public areas, and banquet spaces to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete room setup tasks: change linens, make beds, dust, vacuum, restock amenities.
• Report maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely per procedures.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and other teams to meet guest needs.
• Maintain clean and safe spaces following hotel policies and procedures.
• Represent the hotel professionally through courteous interactions.
