Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a casual Housekeeping Aide to maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary Long-Term Care residence for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, offices, and hallways; mop and wax floors; dust furniture; arrange spaces; and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred and a minimum public-school education is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, offices, halls and other areas as directed.
• Cleans, mops, waxes, and polishes floors; operates a floor machine for buffing.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; arranges furniture in an orderly fashion.
• Cleans and disinfects sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily.
