Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Vaughan Toronto is seeking a Pre-Opening Hotel Food and Beverage Supervisor to help launch our new 272-room property in Vaughan, ON. You will assist in managing the food and beverage outlets, ensure quality service, and maximize profitability from day one.

Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, guest recovery, ensuring presentation and cleanliness, and coordinating with other departments to deliver outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of food service experience in a full-service restaurant or similar setting.
• Some college or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage and performance.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints and perform service recovery.
• Ensure buffet/kitchen presentation and high-quality food.
• Supervise restaurant, bar, and room service operations.
• Inspect restaurant daily for quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and review daily specials.
• Coordinate with other departments to promote teamwork and service.
