Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a capacity-building team member to coordinate activities across units and establish efficient work schedules and procedures. You will perform duties similar to supervised workers and advise on productivity and quality improvements.

We provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to foster inclusive environments for persons with disabilities, newcomers, youth, Indigenous and mature workers, and visible minorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Perform same duties as workers supervised
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
• Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
• Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
• Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
• Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
• Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities

Job description

$21.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
