Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, coordinate seating and maintain smooth dining room operations. The role requires a welcoming demeanor, attention to dietary needs, and the ability to manage seating flow to support servers throughout service.

The position is permanent with a pay rate of $19.94/hour CAD, starting August 2026, and includes staff benefits and on-site accommodation options for full-time status employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months food and beverage experience.
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Proficient with POS systems (OpenTable & Silverware).

• Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary requirements or special occasions.

Job Description

Join our team as a Host at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and be the welcoming face of our dining experience. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring their visit is memorable from start to finish. In this role, you'll coordinate seating, assist with special requests, and maintain a smooth and efficient flow in the restaurant, all while upholding the highest standards of service and safety.

Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $19.94/hour

Start Date: August 2026

Job Duties Include
