Job summary

Uccellos in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Hospitality Manager to lead guest services in a full‑service restaurant environment. You will manage staff, uphold standards for food preparation and service, and drive sales and guest satisfaction during nights and weekends.

The role requires 3+ years in casual dining, strong math and POS skills, and the ability to coordinate events and work with alcohol service. We offer a supportive culture with benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area.
• Experience with full-service, casual dining (3+ years).
• Experience with full-service alcohol serving facilities is desirable.
• Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system.
• Experience with Event Planning is a Plus
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and email.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability on Nights and Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and training programs.
• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portions, cooking and serving standards.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, and cleanliness through training and leadership.
• Manage cash and receipts according to policies and procedures.
• Support team members to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Develop team members and provide ongoing training.
• Ensure proper receiving of products and adherence to policies.
• Know restaurant policies regarding personnel and operations.
• Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
