Job summary

Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate and optimize maintenance activities. You will plan and prioritize work orders within CMMS, manage asset records and parts inventories, and support shutdowns and capital projects to keep hospital operations reliable and safe.

With a mechanical/electrical/industrial background, you will read drawings, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize

Qualifications

  • Trade certification or a relevant technical diploma.
  • 3–5 years in maintenance planning or related planning roles; healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Strong CMMS experience including selection, design, implementation and deployment.
  • Mechanical, electrical or industrial background with knowledge of building systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specs; knowledge of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities via CMMS.
  • Develop, schedule and prioritize maintenance work orders based on risk and urgency.
  • Maintain asset records, maintenance histories, and parts inventories in CMMS.
  • Support shutdown planning, capital projects, and maintenance scheduling to minimize disruption.
