• Must possess and maintain a valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
• Completion of Healthcare Institutional Safety Officer training and ongoing competency.
• Clear Criminal Record and child/vulnerable sector checks throughout employment.
• Own and maintain a Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Enforce bylaws and institutional safety requirements within healthcare facilities.
• Respond to high-risk situations and maintain safe custody when needed.
• Provide enforcement, prevention, intervention and education of applicable laws.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as required.
