Job summary

Teacherstrainingvietnam is seeking a capable teacher for Grades 7–8 to deliver Ontario Curriculum-aligned instruction in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science & Technology, and History & Geography. You will prepare students for high school by building strong academic habits and independent thinking.

Using discussion-based, inquiry-driven, and project-based strategies, you will challenge students to think critically while maintaining a respectful classroom culture and genuine relationships.

Qualifications

• Must connect with teenagers and be memorable beyond Grade 8.
• Understand challenges Muslim youth face today and support Islamic identity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous Ontario Curriculum-aligned instruction for Grades 7–8 in ELA, Math, Science & Technology, History & Geography.
• Prepare students for high school with strong academic habits and independent thinking.

• Maintain a fair, respectful classroom culture with consistency, boundaries, and genuine relationships.
• Conduct varied assessments, provide constructive feedback, and prepare Ontario-aligned reports.
• Engage students in conversations about Islamic identity and tarbiyah beyond the curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with parents, attend school events, and collaborate with the TES team.

• Maintain a fair and respectful classroom culture, understanding that adolescent behaviour requires consistency, boundaries, and genuine relationships.
• Conduct varied assessments, provide constructive feedback, and prepare Ontario-aligned report cards and progress reports.
• Engage students in real conversations about Islamic identity, values, and what it means to live as a Muslim, going beyond curriculum to support tarbiyah at a deeper level.
• Communicate professionally with parents, attend school events, and collaborate actively with the TES team.
