Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education from a recognized Canadian university
• Valid teaching certificate from a Canadian province, or in the process of obtaining one
• Specialization in French with fluency equivalent to a native speaker
• Familiarity with the BC Curriculum, specifically in French as a Second Language (FSL)
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive classroom environment
• Experience teaching primary or intermediate students (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French lessons aligned with the British Columbia curriculum
• Develop unit and lesson plans that promote student engagement and language acquisition
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students

BC Muslim School is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Core French Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. We are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic, caring, and capable of delivering engaging French lessons that inspire a love for language and learning among students in Grade 5 through Grade 9.
