Job summary

Edmonton Islamic Academy is a growing school community serving over 2,200 students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12. We seek qualified Substitute Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year to support student learning across multiple grade levels and subjects.

In this role you will assume full classroom responsibilities in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-planned lessons, and collaborate with staff to maintain a respectful, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across grade levels and subjects.
