Job summary

Interior Health in Vernon, BC is seeking a Relief Part Time Home Support Scheduler to plan and coordinate home support services in the community.

You will review referrals, match Community Health Workers by location and skills, maintain schedules, confirm service delivery, and handle timekeeping. This is a relief position until the return of the incumbent, with rotating days and a 06:00–14:00 shift.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Office Administration program or certificate required.
• Two years of recent related experience recommended.
• Typing test: 30 wpm or greater, dated within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating home support service schedules.
• Reviewing client needs and matching Community Health Workers based on suitability, location, and required skills.
• Scheduling, monitoring, maintaining and adjusting CHWs' schedules and client appointments.
• Confirming completion of client service to referral clinician.
• Timekeeping.

We are seeking a Relief Part Time Home Support Scheduler at Vernon Community Care Health Services in Vernon, BC.

Days of work: Rotating, Days, 4 on, 4 off

Shift times: 06:00 to 14:00

This is a relief position until the return of incumbent.

What will you work on?

The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules. Duties may include:

• Receiving service referrals and changes;
• Reviewing client needs and matches Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required;
• Schedules, monitors, maintains and adjusts Community Health Worker’s schedules and client appointments;
• Confirms completion of client service to referral clinician;
• Timekeeping.

Qualfications

• Grade 12,
• Graduation from a recognized Office Administration Program, plus
• Two year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Completion of a 5 min Typing Test 30 wpm or greater, dated within the past 24 months and must be issued from a valid institution only.
