You will review client needs, match Community Health Workers by location and skill, and maintain schedules and client appointments. This position offers rotating days with relief coverage until the incumbent returns.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 required.
• Graduation from an Office Administration program.
• Two years recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Completion of a 5 min Typing Test 30 wpm or greater from a valid institution.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating home support service schedules.
• Reviewing client needs and matching Community Health Workers by location and skills.
• Scheduling, monitoring, maintaining and adjusting CHW schedules and client appointments.
• Timekeeping and confirming service completion to referral clinicians.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Relief Part Time Home Support Scheduler at Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, BC.

Days of work: Rotating, Days, Evenings

Shift times: 05:30 to 13:30, 12:00 to 20:00, 06:00 to 14:00, 15:00 to 23:00

This is a relief position until the return of incumbent.

What will you work on?

The Home Support Scheduler is responsible for developing and coordinating home support service schedules. Duties may include:

• Receiving service referrals and changes;
• Reviewing client needs and matches Community Health Workers based on suitability, geographic location, and skills required;
• Schedules, monitors, maintains and adjusts Community Health Worker’s schedules and client appointments;
• Confirms completion of client service to referral clinician;
• Timekeeping.

Qualfications

• Grade 12,
• Graduation from a recognized Office Administration Program, plus
• Two year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Completion of a 5 min Typing Test 30 wpm or greater, dated within the past 24 months and must be issued from a valid institution only.
