Job summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Home Support Scheduler to support the Home and Community Care department.

Under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Home Support Scheduler coordinates and develops schedules, preparing and adjusting them to match referrals and collective agreements. Data entry and timekeeping on scheduling software are part of the role.

Weekends and evenings are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate home support service schedules by preparing and adjusting schedules in accordance with service referral requests and applicable collective agreements.
• Schedule Community Health Workers (CHW) as authorized by clinicians by receiving referrals and service changes, enter data into the computer system, and carry out timekeeping tasks on the scheduling software.
• Weekends and evenings are expected.
