Job summary

Pacific Coast Community Resources seeks a Home Sharing Coordinator to lead the Home Sharing Program, ensuring CLBC policy compliance, and overseeing Home Sharing Providers with a focus on Indigenous safety. You will collaborate with supported persons, providers, families, and external partners.

The role also emphasizes records management, contract monitoring, and ongoing quality improvement within a culturally inclusive framework. A social services background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of CLBC policies, procedures, standards, and outcomes.
• Experience coordinating and overseeing programs in social services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of person-centered planning and Indigenous cultural safety.
• Cultural competence and ability to apply culturally respectful practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient documentation and records management with privacy respect.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills using culturally appropriate approaches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Outlook.
• Commitment to confidentiality and the agency's mission.
• Clear Criminal Record Check and valid driver license (Class 5; Class 4 if driving a company vehicle).
• Current First-Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and Policy: provide input into policy reviews and conflict of interest procedures; promote cultural diversity and Indigenous safety.
• Contract Compliance: ensure providers meet contractual obligations and maintain required documentation.
• Quality Assurance: contribute to tools and data analysis for service quality and implement remediation strategies.
• Records Management: maintain confidential records in compliance with laws and cultural protocols.
• Complaints & Conflict: support accessible complaint processes and document conflicts with culturally appropriate approaches.
