Job summary

CBI Home Health is hiring Health Care Aides in Magrath, Alberta. You will support clients at home, assist with personal care and mobility, and help clients live safely and independently in their communities.

The role requires an active license in good standing with the CLHA, a clear criminal record check, and a valid driver’s license. We offer flexible scheduling options, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within a leading Canadian home health provider.

Qualifications

• Active license and in good standing with the CLHA.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate in other languages an asset.
• Reliability and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their homes and assist with mobility and light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' condition to the supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in care plans.
