Job summary

CBI Home Health in Taber is seeking a Health Care Aide to support clients at home and in community settings. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and light exercises, and document changes for your supervisor.

The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and working with families to maintain independence. Applicants must hold an active CLHA license, pass a vulnerable sector check, have a valid driver's license and vehicle, and be able to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Active CLHA license in good standing.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; other languages are assets.
• Reliability and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home.
• Assist clients with mobility and light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping as indicated in client care plans.
