Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with access to a vehicle for business use. Driving in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living per the client’s plan of care.
• Support nurses and multidisciplinary team in delivering routine care and observing patient wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health professionals; maintain a safe environment.
