CBI Home Health is hiring Health Care Aides in Medicine Hat to support clients in home and community settings. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, and help clients live safely and independently at home.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities, with a focus on compassionate, client-centered care and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing with the CLHA.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Proof of a negative TB test.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Commitment to work every other weekend.
• Strong English communication skills; other languages are an asset.
• Reliability and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home and assist with mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' condition to the Manager/Supervisor.
• May perform light housekeeping as indicated in client care plans.

What You Will Do

As a caring, responsible health care team member, you will support clients to be as safe and independent in our community settings, as possible, helping them to live their best lives. You will provide personal care to clients in their home, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises. You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor. You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Active License and in good standing with the CLHA
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
• Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Commitment to work every other weekend
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)
