Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed secondary school is required.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and own vehicle appreciated.
• Background check satisfactory to The Salvation Army is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily activities of Community Services during the Christmas Season.
• Assist with pickup of toy donations from community donors using program vehicle.
• Assist with setup and takedown of Christmas hampers and toy shop; ensure area is tidy and stocked.
• Provide front line support to clients and verify income documents on applications.
• Record data accurately and maintain confidentiality; assist volunteers during hamper preparation.
• Answer inquiries and support Christmas Kettle Campaign; perform other duties as needed.
