Job summary

EMCON SERVICES INC. is seeking a confident winter equipment operator for several locations in BC, Alberta and Ontario. These are seasonal union AUPE positions. Primary duties include driving plow trucks and performing road maintenance tasks such as installing and maintaining signs, guiderails, fences, ditches and culverts.

Qualifications include AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/air); Class 1 preferred; and a 24/7 on-call commitment during the winter season.

Qualifications

• Valid AB Driver’s Licence (minimum Class 3/ air).
• Class 1 licence preferred.
• On-call during winter season (24/7).

Responsibilities

• Operate winter equipment including plow trucks.
• Perform road maintenance tasks as required (signs, guiderails, fences, ditches, culverts).

EMCON SERVICES INC., a progressive Road & Bridge Maintenance Contractor in BC, Alberta and Ontario, is looking for a confident winter equipment operator in several locations. These are seasonal union (AUPE) positions. Our teams perform a large variety of road maintenance related tasks such as installing, repairing and maintaining signs, guiderails, fences, ditches, culverts, but the primary function for the winter season is driving plow trucks.

Qualifications include:
